The proprietor of Aklosendi International Football Club of Lafia , David Allu has said that his club is aiming to get the promotion ticket to the Nigeria NationaL League NNL at the end of the season in the Nationwide League One.
Allu revealed that he is very impressed with the performance of the club in the first round of the league having won 3 games and losing just a game to get 9 points.
“I am happy with the performance of the team particularly when the team won at away against Wazobia FC in Abuja and everything is pointing to the fact we are on course on our aspiration to win a promotion ticket to the Nigeria National League” Allu said
He, however cautioned that his team should not underrate any team in the group, noting that Wazobia FC despite being the weakest team in the group having lost all their games is not that a bad team. so the technical crew of his team must prepare very in the reverse fixture next week against the same team in order to pick the maximum points at stake in Lafia.
“We will not underrate Wazobia FC in the reverse game. The technical crew knows what to do to win the game and they must not underrate or underestimate Wazobia because in football you can never know the outcome until the end of 90 minutes. We hope to win the game to remain on track in our quest to secure promotion to the NNL” he concluded.
