The City of Kaduna and the entire Kaduna state are witnessing a large number of visitors as Nigerian football stakeholders including players, officials and fans from four different states of the federation are converging in the Crocodiles State for tomorrow’s final of the 2019 edition of AITEO Cup.
Football teams from Kano, Niger, Nasarawa and Rivers states namely Kano Pillars, Niger Tornados (men) and Nasarawa Amazons and Rivers Angels respectively will tomorrow be in actions in the final of the 2019 AITEO Cup at the newly refurbished Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.
Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt will clash with Nasarawa Amazons of Lafia in the 2019 AITEO Cup Women’s final which will start by 2 pm while Kano Pillars, the losing finalist last year and Niger Tornadoes that also lost in the final two years ago will by 4 pm battle for the trophy at stake.
Already all the four teams have arrived Kaduna and have settled down in their hotels ahead of the the big clash tomorrow.
Also in Kaduna are the competition organizers, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) with full compliments of members of the Congress- States Football Association (FA) Chairmen and Secretaries as well as sports journalists from across the country.
Yet, Kaduna is also playing host to football fans especially those from Kano, Niger, Nasarawa and Rivers states who are already in the city awaiting for the kick off tomorrow.
Expectedly, hotels, restaurants, bukataria and transporters as well as recharge cards sellers are making brisk businesses so far.
However; the Ahmadu Bello Stadium venue of the big battles is now wearing a new look as the arena has been draped in the colours of the sponsors, AITEO Group Plc, an oil & Gas Services Company.
NFF Marketing/ Sponsorship Unit have been busy mounting the Pitch panels, Perimeter Adverts, banners and posters within and outside the stadium.
