Victor Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda has demanded ‘respect’ for the Nigerian international.
Calenda released the statement on the social media on Monday after his client was linked with a move to Saudi club Al Ahli.
Al Ahli reportedly submitted a €65m offer for the striker on Sunday.
“Osimhen is a Napoli player, with a contract recently renewed with mutual satisfaction. He made history and when there were major offers (also this year) we always accepted the club’s decisions,” Calenda wrote on X.
“As I said, it is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets. Victor was elected African footballer of the year, eighth at the Ballon d’Or, he still has so much to do in Europe. There is need respect and balance.”
The 25-year-old has not make an appearance for the Partenopei this season.
He has a €130m clause included in his contract, which expires in June 2026.
