Uganda U-20 head coach, Morley Byekwaso Ochama says his team have what it takes to beat the Flying Eagles of Nigeria.
The Hippos will lock horns with the West Africans in the men’s football event of the 13th African Games on Thursday night (today).
The Group B encounter is billed for the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Flying Eagles are among the favourites to claim gold medal in the event.
Ochama though has huge respect for Nigeria, he is optimistic his side can claim maximum points in the game.
“We have had good preparations since we entered camp, had practice games in Ethiopia and I believe the players are ready for this tournament,” Ochama was quoted by Kawowo Sports. READ ALSO:

“We respect Nigeria as superpowers of African football but we don’t fear them. We played against them at AFCON U20 last year and I believe the team has improved a lot since then, so I believe we have what it takes to beat them here.”
The Flying Eagles finished second at the last edition of the African Games in Morocco.
Nigeria last won gold medal in the men’s football event in 1973.
