The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will look to secure a place in the semi-finals when they face Senegal on Friday (today).
The African Games 2023 men’s football event Group A encounter will hold at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Hippos of Uganda have already secured a place in the last four after winning their two games leaving Nigeria and Senegal to scramble for the last ticket.
The Flying Eagles occupy second position on the group with three points from two games.

The Flying Eagles finished in second position at the previous edition of the African Games hosted by Morocco.
Nigeria last won gold medal in the men’s football event in 1973.
