Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa has expressed shock over his inclusion in the 24-man list invited to take on Benin Republic and Lesotho in AFCON Qualifiers bill for this month tn Port-Novo and Lagos respectively.
Musa, in a telephone chat believes his invitation by the eagles handler, Rohr, to be among the players to execute the two matches is divine.
“In nations cup and world cup qualifiers, experience is very key to coaches who want to excel and make their job easier. Rohr is a very good coach and tactical. I see us winning the two matches without difficulties.
“I will personally give my best if picked to play any of the two matches. Super Eagles is a team and players are always ready to play as a unit not individual. Some of us who are at the verge of retiring from the national team would like to win the Nations Cup as a way of saying thank you to Nigerians for their support.”
Musa also revealed that very soon he will return to club football as all the necessary papers have been signed but declined to disclose the club .
