By Gracious Akujobi Cote D’ Ivore defeated neighbours, Ghana 9-8 on penalty shootout to lift the 2015 African Nations Cup trophy in Bata, Equatorial Guinea.
The match ended in penalties after the regular 90 minutes and extra time could not produce any goal.
Ghana were slightly ahead and had more clear chances to score which they could not convert.
Ivorian goal keeper Boubacar Barry turned hero for his side when he saved and scored the winning penalty to give his country the trophy which they last won in 1992, also via penalty shootout.
