William Troost-Ekong says the Super Eagles are fired up for the clash with the Cheetahs of Benin Republic, reports Prompt News.
The captain of the side stated that the Super Eagles will go all out for maximum points in the game.
“The mood in camp is very good, we’re excited about his game and we want to be in Morocco (for the AFCON),” the centre-back said at Friday’s media briefing in Uyo.
“We will do that by winning games to qualify.
“The boys are in the right frame of mind and I have liked what I have seen in training.”
The West Africans will begin their quest for a place at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with an home fixture against the Cheetahs.
The encounter is slated for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday (today).
