The Super Eagles booked their place in the Round of 16 at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations following a 1-0 win against Guinea-Bissau.
Nigeria head coach, Jose Peseiro stuck to the same 3-4-3 formation for the game.
Opa Sangante’s own goal in the 36th minute separates both teams on the night.
Kenneth Omeruo came in for the injured William Troost-Ekong, while Bright Osayi-Samuel make his first of the competition.
Joe Aribo and Moses Simon were also handed their first start.
The Super Eagles struggled to create any clear cut chance in the opening minutes of the game.
The breakthrough came for Nigeria nine minutes before the break.
Moses Simon was set up by a long pass from Semi Ajayi and his cross into the net by Guinea-Bissau defender Sangante.
The Super Eagles took control of the game in the second half with the Djurtus contended to sit back.

Victor Osimhen came close a couple of times but failed to find target.
The Super Eagles finished second in Group A and will face the second place team in Group C in the Round of 16.
