Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has said his side must be at their best against Cote d’Ivoire.
The three-time champions will be up against the hosts at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium on Thursday.
The Elephants will enjoy the support of 60,000 fans at the ground.
Peseiro said the Super Eagles must stay compact and organised in the game.
“We are expecting a great match, full stadium, fantastic atmosphere as well. We need to play with good organisation, be compact in our approach and express ourselves as well,”Peseiro told a press conference on Wednesday.
“We also have to improve from the first match. It’s important for us to maintain our style and enjoy the game. We must also defend well and convert our chances.”
Peseiro also reflected on his side’s previous game against Equatorial Guinea and also said they must keep working hard.
“We created so many chances against Equatorial Guinea, but we must improve our finishing,”he added. READ ALSO:
