Cameroon head coach, Rigobert Song has tipped the Super Eagles to go all the way at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Indomitable Lions were sent packing from the competition following a 2-0 loss to the Super Eagles on Saturday night.
Ademola Lookman scored in each half to give Nigeria a well-deserved victory.
“Nigeria played a good game. They are a solid side and they proved that against us. Congratulations to them,'” Song said after the game.
” We are a young team, still in a rebuilding process. We made a couple of mistakes which is normal with a young team like ours.
“Nigeria have always been a favourite and I think they have the quality to win the competition.” READ ALSO:

The Super Eagles will next face the Black Antelopes of Angola in their quarter-final tie at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan next week Friday.
