Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has told his players to keep their eyes on the big prize and not dwell too much on their victory against Cote d’Ivoire.
Nigeria defeated hosts Cote d’Ivoire 1-0 in a pulsating encounter at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on Thursday.
The result saw Jose Peseiro’s men moved to second position on the Group A table with four points from two games.
The Super Eagles now need just a point from their last group against to earn a berth in the Round of 16.
“Now is not the time to celebrate, I have told the players. We eat properly, rest well and start preparation for the next game against Guinea-Bissau,” the Portuguese said during his interaction with the media after the game. READ ALSO:

“The game on Monday is very important and that is what we should focus on now.
“We will only celebrate when we win the tournament. Now it’s time to work, work and work.”
