Victor Osimhen claimed the Man of the Match award following the Super Eagles hard-earned 1-0 victory against Cote d’Ivoire at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on Thursday.
Osimhen wasted an early chance to put Nigeria ahead early in the game.
The Napoli hitman however won the penalty that was converted by centre-back William Troost-Ekong for the second goal.
The 25-year-old saw action for 88th minutes in the keenly contested encounter.
The striker was replaced by Trabzonspor’s Paul Onuachu two minutes from time. READ ALSO:

The Super Eagles will face the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau in their final group game next week Tuesday.
