Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo is anticipating a tough game against the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire.
The three-time champions will look to add to their trophy cabinet when they take on the host nation in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on Sunday.
Jose Peseiro’s side defeated the Elephants 1-0 in a group game earlier in the competition.
Omeruo know things will be different this time around even as he expects the Super Eagles to come out victorious.
“We all know how important this game is for our country, for them too (Cote d’Ivoire) it is very important,” Omeruo told reporters after the Super Eagles training session at the Police College, Cocody, Abidjan on Thursday.

“The crowd will be hostile and will be solidly behind them, but we have the experience to deal with that.”
“It’s going to be tough out there, but we will do our best to come out victorious.”
