Kenneth Omeruo says the Super Eagles must be prepared for a tough battle against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau.
The Super Eagles will keep a date with Baciro Cande’s men at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium on Monday.
The Super Eagles occupy second position in Group A with four points from two games.
Guinea-Bissau are bottom of the with zero point from two games.
Despite Guinea-Bissau side poor performance in the competition, Omeruo has emphasized the need for the Super Eagles not to underrate their opponent.
“It’s going to be an interesting game. We know Guinea-Bissau very well having face them in the qualifiers,” Omeruo told a press conference in Abidjan.
“It’s not going to be an easy game. A lot of people have predicted that we are going to beat them easily but we are not thinking that way. READ ALSO:

“We are going to approach the game with seriousness. Like the coach said, we have to keep taking it one game at a time.
“We must not go into game thinking that we are going to beat them. That will not help us at all.”
