AC Milan winger, Samuel Chukwueze has said he wants to return to the club as an African champion.
Chukwueze has played a key role in Nigeria’s qualification for the Round of 16 at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 24-year-old featured in all of Jose Peseiro’s side three group games.
The Super Eagles are gunning a fourth title in Cote d’Ivoire having won the trophy three times in the past.
The former Villarreal star revealed his ambition is to help the West Africans claim top position in Cote d’Ivoire.
“I can’t leave Milan to come here and not win a trophy, I really need it. I want to make my country proud and I don’t want to waste my club’s time for nothing. I have to fight for my position and win,” he told reporters. READ ALSO:

Nigeria will face perennial rivals, Cameroon in the Round of 16 on Saturday.
