Dr. Ezekiel Oseni has been appointed as the Acting Managing Director of the National Economic Reconstruction Fund, NERFUND.
The appointment which was approved by the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, is with immediate effect.
Dr Oseni, who until his appointment was a Manager at the Bank of Industry, has the mandate to reposition the Organization and recover all debts.
A statement by the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Finance, Dr. Mahmoud Isa-Dutse, reads:
“The Honourable Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun has approved the appointment of Dr. Ezekiel Oseni as the Acting Managing Director for NERFUND.
“His appointment which takes immediate effect was made under a Management Agreement between the Federal Ministry of Finance and Bank of Industry.
“Dr. Ezekiel Oseni was until his appointment a General Manager and Chief Risk Officer at the Bank of Industry.
“He has the mandate amongst others to reposition the Organisation and to ensure that all outstanding indebtedness are recovered.”
