AC Milan are in talks with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to delay Samuel Chukwueze’s release for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The pacy winger is expected to be included in Super Eagles’ final squad for the biennial competition.
The Super Eagles will begin preparations for the 2023 AFCON finals in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on January 1.
Chukwueze is expected to link up with his international teammates in camp same day.
AC Milan have a Cup game against Cagliari on January 2 and only want to release Chukwueze after the fixture.
The Rossoneri also want to delay the release of midfielder Ismael Bennacer, who will feature for the Desert Foxes of Algeria at the AFCON. READ ALSO:

Cote d’Ivoire will host the competition from January 13 to February 11.
