The Abia State Government has confirmed the appointment of Kanu Nwankwo as the supervisor for Enyimba Football Club.
The 46-year-old’s appointment was confirmed in a statement released by Abia State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Prince Okey Kanu.
PROMPT NEWS reports that Kanu succeeds Felix Anyansi-Agwu, who was in charge of the Peoples’ Elephant for over two decades.
The former Arsenal striker is expected to help strengthen the team to win more laurels.
Enyimba won the Nigeria Premier League for a record nine time last season.
The Aba giants will compete in the CAF Champions League last season.
