Sporting Lagos on Friday announced the appointment of Abdullahi Biffo as their new head coach.
Biffo is taking over from Paul Offor, who was sacked on Wednesday.
Offor guided Sporting Lagos to promotion from the Nigeria National League last season.
The modest club however sacked him due to the team’s struggles in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Biffo has managed several top clubs in the NPFL.
The gaffer has managed teams like Abia Warriors, Kwara United, and Niger Tornadoes in the past.
Biffo qualified Kwara United for the CAF Confederation Cup in 2021. READ ALSO:

He has also won the State Federation Cup six times and the Nigeria National League title twice.
Sporting Lagos currently occupy 11th position on the NPFL table.
Biffo’s first game will be against his former club, Katsina United at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium on Sunday.
