As the countdown to the 2019 Presidential election begins, a group, “Atiku for Better Nigeria” has declared its unalloyed support for the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji  Atiku Abubakar

The National Coordinator of the group, Barrister Benita Dike-Israel made this assertion during a courtesy visit with members of her national executives to the Deputy Director, Contact and Mobilization, Hon. Oladimeji Fabiyi, who also doubles as the chairman of All Atiku Support Groups,  at the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation, (APCO), office in Abuja

Hon Oladimeji Fabiyi, with Benita Israel-Dike, national coordinator of Atiku 4 Better Nigeria.

During the courtesy visit, Barrister Benita Dike-Israel told her host that the group  was at the APCO office to register their support and solidarity for His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar as their choice for the 2019 presidential election.
She reiterated that her group is an advocacy group made up of legally minded individuals and other professionals.
She added that her group advocacy activities, will amongst other objectives, focus keenly on enlightenment campaign on voters’ education on the ‘right to vote and how to vote right’

Barrister Benita Dike-Israel further said that with her group advocacy on voters’ education, the issues of voided votes and the general apathy including incidents of low turn-out by Nigerians usually experienced during election day will be drastically reduced to the barest minimum.
In addition, she said the group will also be sensitizing the electorates on why Atiku Abubakar is the right choice to vote for in the up-coming presidential election

Responding, Hon. Oladimeji Fabiyi, said the Atiku Campaign Organisation welcomes the group and thanked them for supporting Atiku Abubakar for the 2019 presidency; adding that, it was a right decision taken by the group to align its support and solidarity with Atiku Abubakar’s mission to rescue the nation from the current economic hardship and unmitigated suffering being experienced by Nigerians

He said the former vice president and the PDP presidential candidate is happy with the growing support he is receiving everyday in support of his presidential ambition and had promised he would not disappoint Nigerians when he eventually emerges as the next president of Nigeria come 2019.

Fabiyi, again reiterated that Atiku Abubakar is the kind of leader the nation need now to salvage the economy, create jobs and restore dashed hopes; stressing that with Atiku Nigeria will  surely work again and peace and prosperity will return to the country

The “ATIKU FOR BETTER NIGERIA”support group  has vibrant chapters in all the states of the federation including the Federal capital territory, that are well positioned to ensure a resounding  victory for  His Excellency Atiku Abubakar at the 2019 general election and provide continued support through out his tenure in office.
