As the world celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, the National Eexecutives of the Nasarawa State Students Association (NASSA)extend our good tidings, peace and progress to all Nassites and the people of Nasarawa state.
The NASSA National President, Nasir Abdullahi said the association “felicitate with our brothers and sisters of the Christian faith and join you in jollification. As brothers and sisters we share our problems, times of sorrow and that of happiness.
“So we are calling on all Muslim brothers and sisters to dine with our Christian brethren and wish them all the best of jollification.
“But, don’t forget to use this period as a time for sober reflection and pray to Almighty God for continues peace, unity amongst us and progress for our dear state.
“However, we would like to use this medium to remind fellow Nassites that the 2012/2013 scholarship/bursary screening exercise shall begin as scheduled below:
LAFIA ZONE: Friday the 27th to 3rd December, 2013. Venue: State Ministry of Education along Naspoly road Lafia. TIME: 9am to 4pm
KEFFI ZONE: Monday 6th to 10th January, 2013. Venue: 1000 Auditorium, Nasarawa state University, Keffi. TIME: 9am to 4pm
AKWANGA ZONE: Monday 13th to 17th January, 2013. Venue: Akwanga Local Government Secretariat. TIME: 9am to 4pm

Your online printed form alongside your scratch card
Indigene certificate
Last evidence of payment of school fees
Three copies of recent passport photograph
Admission letter
Letter of teaching practice for NCE students.
Lastly, we are calling on those Nassites that are rebelling and running faction in NASSA calling themselves “NASSA rebirth team” parading themselves as leadership of NASSA to know that the last thing we need now in Nasarawa state is disunity, for God says strife (chaos) is in slumber (asleep) and the curse of Almighty God is upon those who wakes it up (chaos).
What NASSA need is our collective ideas and support to make it stronger not killing it with what you are doing now. Please desist from such act and be a good citizen and together we shall take NASSA to the next level.
Our sincere appreciation goes to Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura(TA’AL) for coming to the aid of students of Nasarawa state via this scholarship/bursary scheme.
We must also commend the effort of the Nasarawa state scholarship board under the leadership of its Executive Secretary in person of Mr. Suleiman A. Suleiman for his tireless effort in making sure that every eligible students of Nasarawa state register to enable them benefit from the magnanimity of the governor.
