Oh Allah, give me a tongue that is truthful
The capacity to say what is right and true
In a manner that will connote truth
Into the ears of the one that desire the truth
Reaching the mind of one that recognize the truth
Oh Allah, you are the Truth
Truth is Constant and never change
Allah, You are the Truth for You never change
Guide me and those that desire the Truth

Having said that: Abundance of blessing to all the Prophets of Allah from the beginning to the Last and the Imam Muhammad (s.a.w). Amin.
In the course of the E of L last week, a listener was surprised at what he termed ‘my brand’ of Islam. He was seeing similarity in what he knew as religion before now and the message of Al-Islam. The truth is, Truth is Constant and if the source of Creation of all things is One, the owner of the Message is One, then the Message sent through the Messengers can only remain One. The Truth is, Islam is One Single Brand across the Globe. Any Muslim irrespective of Race, Color or Gender is free to worship in any Mosque he find himself on the face of the earth. The formula is the same, the Book is same and the Language of worship is same, that is the Language of the Glorious Qur’an – Arabic. Pure unadulterated Arabic, the medium the Qur’an was revealed with. The Language spoken by the Last Messenger Muhammad (s.a.w). For enlightenment, you can get to buy in other Languages now in the shops.
What appear not be clear to a person coming across Islam newly is the lack of exposure to the position of Islam on Adam, Nuhu, Ibrahim, Musa, Jesus and the rest of the Prophets and Messengers of Allah. (Peace and blessing of Allah be upon each and everyone of them). Amin
From last week’s episode, I am taking time out with you my dear listener, with attempt at shedding light on the position of the relationship among the Messengers and their religion – Islam.
You Need To acquire Knowledge to understand:
4:162. But those among them who are well-grounded in knowledge, and the believers, believe in what has been sent down to you (Muhammad SAW) and what was sent down before you, and those who perform AsSalat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and believe in Allah and in the Last Day, it is they to whom We shall give a great reward.
Who Reveal the Message:
4:163. Verily, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW) as We inspired Nooh (Noah) and the Prophets after him; We (also) inspired Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Yaqoob (Jacob), and AlAsbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)), Iesa (Jesus), Ayub (Job), Yoonus (Jonah), Haroon (Aaron), and Sulaiman (Solomon), and to Dawood (David) We gave the Zaboor (Psalms).
The Messengers are numerous: 4:164. And Messengers We have mentioned to you before, and Messengers We have not mentioned to you, – and to Moosa (Moses) Allah spoke directly.
Why sending the Messengers?
4:165. Messengers as bearers of good news as well as of warning in order that mankind should have no plea against Allah after the Messengers. And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.
Testimony of the Owner of the Message: 4:166. But Allah bears witness to that which He has sent down (the Quran) unto you (O Muhammad SAW), He has sent it down with His Knowledge, and the Angels bear witness. And Allah is All- Sufficient as a Witness.You can exercise your free will: 4:167. Verily, those who disbelieve (by concealing the truth about Prophet Muhammad SAW and his message of true Islamic Monotheism written with them in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) and prevent (mankind) from the Path of Allah (Islamic Monotheism), they have certainly strayed far away. (Tafsir Al-Qurtubee). (See V.7:157)
Message for the whole World:
4:170. O mankind! Verily, there has come to you the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) with the truth from your Lord, so believe in him, it is better for you. But if you disbelieve, then certainly to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.
The Message and the Messenger Credible:
3:31. Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): “If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
Loving the Messenger is to carry-on as Instructed: 3:32. Say (O Muhammad SAW): “Obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad SAW).” But if they turn away, then Allah does not like the disbelievers.
The Link in the Relationship between and among Messengers: 3:33. Allah chose Adam, Nooh (Noah), the family of Ibrahim (Abraham) and the family of Imran above the Alameen (mankind and jinns) (of their times). 3:34. Offspring, one of the other, and Allah is the All-Hearer, All-Knower.
The Exalted office of Prophethood:
6:83. And that was Our Proof which We gave Ibrahim (Abraham) against his people. We raise whom We will in degrees. Certainly your Lord is Al-Wise, All-Knowing.
One Source un-Corrupted: The Link Righteous.
6:84. And We bestowed upon him Ishaque (Isaac) and Yaqoob (Jacob), each of them We guided, and before him, We guided Nooh (Noah), and among his progeny Dawood (David), Sulaiman (Solomon), Ayub (Job), Yoosuf (Joseph), Moosa (Moses), and Haroon (Aaron). Thus do We reward the good-doers.
85. And Zakariya (Zachariya), and Yahya (John) and Iesa (Jesus) and Iliyas (Elias), each one of them was of the righteous.
6:86. And Ismail (Ishmael) and Al-Yasa (Elisha), and Yoonus (Jonah) and Lout (Lot), and each one of them We preferred above the Alameen (mankind and jinns) (of their times)
6:87. And also some of their fathers and their progeny and their brethren, We chose them, and We guided them to a Straight Path.
The basic Truth and warning handed over to the Chosen:
6:88. This is the Guidance of Allah with which He guides whomsoever He will of His slaves. But if they had joined in worship others with Allah, all that they used to do would have been of no benefit to them.
6:89. They are those whom We gave the Book, AlHukm (understanding of the religious laws), and Prophethood. But if these disbelieve therein (the Book, AlHukm and Prophethood), then, indeed We have entrusted it to a people (such as the Companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW) who are not disbelievers therein.
Follow the one that does not do business with religion: 6:90. They are those whom Allah had guided. So follow their guidance. Say: “No reward I ask of you for this (the Quran). It is only a reminder for the Alameen (mankind and jinns).”
The essence of life is to be aware of other messengers from Allah: that they are brothers from the same source sent by Allah with the same message of “your God my God is One God” and the last Messenger Muhammad is the final of the Messengers. That is the reason for the seeming similarity in the Message. All prophets are Brothers. BJ
