Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has condoled with the government of Ondo State, and particularly, the people of Akure over the demise of the traditional ruler of the town, Oba Adebisi Adesida.
Atiku in a statement signed by his media office in Abuja on Monday noted that the late traditional ruler brought peace and stability to his kingdom during his short reign.
“Since it is God that makes and takes kings, the government of Ondo State and the people of Akure and the family of the late monarch must not cease to have the confidence and trust that the Almighty will provide another king for the kingdom,” the Turaki Adamawa said.
The former Vice President, however, prayed that God gives the bereaved family, the people of Akure Township and the government of Ondo State the fortitude to bear the loss of their traditional ruler.
