By: Gracious Akujobi President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Aminu Maigari has declared that the Super Eagles are well positioned to pick Brazil 2014 world cup ticket when they square up against the Ethiopians for the return leg of the plays off come November 16 in Calabar.
Addressing a press conference at the Glass House on Tuesday, Maigari thanked all Nigerians for the support the Super Eagles have got thus far while commending the media for projecting the good image and activities of football in and outside the country.
“We have just emerged as world champions in the U-17 category, and I must say this is just the beginning of good things to come in Nigeria football.
“We are looking forward to Saturday where I believe Nigerians will celebrate as a result of Super Eagles victory. It is a collective effort from all of us and I believe we will achieve our aim” he said.
The Super Eagles have two vital away goals going into this return leg play offs as they defeated the Wayla Antelopes of Ethiopia 2-1 a forth night ago in Addis Ababa.
