The Restructure Nigeria Group, has called on Nigerians to support and join the campaign for the restructuring of Nigeria and institutionalization of true federalism as it is the only way to build a truly united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.

According to a statement jointly signed by Udenna Orji and Dr. Ahmed Lawal, National Coordinator and Member, Board of Trustees respectively, the group is a new people’s movement established to bring about the Restructuring of Nigeria and institutionalization of True Federalism.

“We call on all Nigerians to visit our website, www.forwardnigeria.org everyday to learn the benefits of restructuring Nigeria and other issues confronting the nation.

“Stories and articles on our website will convince all Nigerians that restructuring Nigeria will bring unparalleled development to Nigeria and her people.

“FNM appeals to all patriotic Nigerians to join this nascent movement committed to building a truly united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria and to log onto our website www.forwardnigeria.org everyday for news, articles and paper presentations on restructuring and how to move Nigeria forward.

“FNM urges members of the public not only to log on to www.forwardnigeria.org  to read but to also post their articles, lectures, paper presentations, news and comments on restructuring and national issues to the website for the information, education and enlightenment of the Nigerian populace.

“We call on all well-meaning Nigerians to download the Membership Form on our website, fill and submit online to participate in our activities and receive our weekly newsletter.

“FNM believes in the corporate existence of Nigeria and is founded to explore every legitimate means to ensure the achievement of a constitutional amendment that will bring about the Restructuring of Nigeria in order to ensure sustainable unity and progress of the nation.

“FNM is a platform for well meaning Nigerians who desire the unity, peace and progress of Nigeria and insist that these are only achievable through a constitutional amendment that will restructure Nigeria, devolving more powers to the constituent units and institutionalizing fiscal federalism.

“FNM will offer political and civic education to the masses and mobilize Nigerians at the grassroots in the 774 local government areas through rallies, conferences, seminars, workshops, the mass media and other enlightenment avenues to understand and support Restructuring in order to convert the nation’s enormous potentials to concrete achievements.

“FNM will provide a platform where patriotic Nigerians meet to discuss national issues, analyze government policies, offer suggestions and solutions that will bring about a new order and a new leadership culture that will usher Nigeria into the league of the world’s most developed nations.”
