Chairman of Kogi United Football Club, Abdul Adama has revealed that the superb performance of Remo Stars FC against Enyimba FC in the 2013 Federation Cup at Lokoja played a significant role in the choice of Fatai Osho as coach of the Lokoja- based club.
Adama who spoke through the club media officer, Samuel Ahmadu yesterday, disclosed that no fewer than fifteen high- profile coaches applied for the vacant post including two from Spain and Portugal in Europe.
The Kogi born Football manager disclosed that the appointment followed the endorsement from stakeholders, who watched the 2013 Federation Cup encounter between Remo Stars FC and Enyimba FC earlier this year after many consultations.
