EDE – Senator Isiaka Adeleke, the first Civilian Governor of Osun State who died on Sunday, April 23, 2017, has been buried.
Aged 62, Adeleke, a serving senator representing Osun West Senatorial District, died at a private hospital in Osogbo, Osun state capital.
He was buried amidst tears by relatives, friends and political associates after the funeral prayers at his residence in Ede, at about 11.03 hours.
The Chief Imam of Ede, his hometown, Alhaji Moshood Akaje, said the deceased was loved by his people.
Adeleke was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
