Speaking to Prompt News Online via telephone, Idris Malikawa, media officer of the Kano side said the players are well motivated to win the Glo-Nigeria Premier League ahead of Enyimba FC and Bayelsa United.
“As I talk to you the board of our club led by Abba Yola has settled all our entitlements. The boys are not owed salaries or match bonuses”
“We are preparing to take on Dolphins FC on Wednesday in Lokoja, and we know that by the grace of Allah we will win that match which will be an interesting match for fans to watch”
“We are not expecting anything less than a win from that match, the players are committed and with the motivation from our chairman nothing will stop us from reaching where we are headed”
When asked if Kano Pillars will be gunning for early goals, he said “It does not matter the time we score our goals, the most important thing is to get all three points against Dolphins and our last game of the season” a confident Malikawa stated.
