By Gracious Akujobi Super Eagles defender, Godfery Obaobona has said that the team would not miss Chelsea star, Kenneth Omeruo in the defence.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja, Oboabona stated that he is not so particular about who pairs him at the defense because Super Eagles have capable replacements for any player who is indisposed.
“We do miss him as a person but not for his position in the team because since his absence from the team any player drafted to his position has done well.“It is not about me, I am here now and I may not be here tomorrow and someone will fill in my place. Yes we miss him but not on the field of play”.
The player who recently moved to Turkish side Risezpor noted that the Super Eagles is getting bigger and better but, hastened to add that no player is bigger than the team.
Oboabona had this to say about the battle of Addis, “I don’t have any problem, I am fine, by the grace of God I am inform for this match”.
