Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar says the death of the District Head of his hometown of Jada in Ganye Emirate, Alhaji Muhammadu Ardo, robs Adamawa State of a remarkable traditional ruler who devoted himself to the promotion of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among members of the community he ably led.
A condolence statement issued in Abuja on Friday, 16 September, 2016 by the former Vice President describes the late District Head of Jada as a leader that inspired automatic loyalty, respect and admiration because of his justness and devotion to the progress of his people.
The Turakin Adamawa adds that he was proud to be close to the late District Head of Jada, and describes the association as a very rewarding experience “because you always derive immeasurable benefits from his fountain of wisdom.”
According to Atiku, the people of Adamawa State would greatly miss his enormously beneficial ideas for the development of Adamawa State.
While condoling with the family, the government and the people of Adamawa State over Ardo’s demise, the former Vice President prays to Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in peace.
