The FCT Football Association has congratulated its two teams that gained promotion from the Nigeria Nationwide League to the second tier League Nigeria National League.
In a statement at the weekend, an elated Chairman of the FCT Football Association Musa Talle commended the efforts of the two teams in ensuring that they return back to the second tier league in the country, a step towards achieving the dreams of every football stakeholder in the Federal Capital Territory to get a Premiership club side in the nearest future
“We are very happy with the two teams; they have really justified the confidence the residents of the Federal Capital Territory had on them.
“At the beginning of the season, we gave every one of them a target, and this they have justified at the end of the day. We have charged them not to relent on their efforts, until they get the Premiership slot for us”.
The FA Boss singled out the FRSC FC for mention, saying that the team was outstanding all through the season playing ten matches losing only one.
He commended the management of these teams for their continual support to the teams, and urged them to do more next season to ensure that the teams fight effectively for the Premiership slot.
