Goldberg Lager Beer has thrown its weight behind the Udiroko festival, Ado-Ekiti’s annual flagship festival which holds this year on Tuesday, August 23rd. The brand which is the leading beer promoter of the culture of the people of South-West Nigeria has promised to add grandeur to the festival as a way of celebrating the befitting tradition of the people of Ado-Ekiti.

Speaking on the sponsorship, the Portfolio Manager, Regional Mainstream and Stout Brands, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Emmanuel Agu, said: “As a brand that has been worthy partners with the Southwest region and catering for the cultural needs of the people, we are committed to championing causes that add value to the cultural heritage of the people of Ado-Ekiti through the Udiroko Festival.”

Mr Agu also added that the highlights of the brand’s support for the festival are two gala events scheduled for Saturday August, 20, 2016 and Sunday, August 21, 2016. The gala events would precede the main event scheduled for the palace of the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday.
