The militant group, Niger Delta Avengers has denied reaching any ceasefire agreement with the Nigerian Government.
The Avengers in a tweet on Tuesday reacted to report in a foreign news medium, which quoted a senior government official as saying that one month ceasefire agreement has been reached.
“The NDA High Command never remember having any agreement on ceasefire with the Nigeria Government,” the Avengers tweeted.
The militant group has been attacking oil facilities across the Niger Delta region, saying it is targeting zero oil production.
In the past few weeks, oil facilities belonging to NNPC, Agip, Shell and Chevron have been blown up.
