John Mikel Obi has stated that Chelsea will not panic after suffering their first loss of the season at Everton.
Steven Naismith’s header condemned the Blues to a 1-0 defeat at Goodison- Jose Mourinho’s first defeat in his second spell at the club.
The Blues created a host of chances but wayward finishing from debutant Samuel Eto’o and Andre Schurrie saw them fail to find the net at Goodison Park.
Midfielder Mikel said:”It is about how we bounce back. When you know what you’ve done wrong, it’s easy to bounce back. We need to go back to training and try to find out what we didn’t do”.
Mourinho felt his side should have won but said he was confident the goals would come once they got up to speed with his methods.
“We train movement, we train dynamics, we train attacking organisation, we train finishing situations”, said the Portuguese.
“The players are good, so sooner or later we will score. If they don’t have the killer instinct they have to get it but I think they have it.
“Samuel has had it all his career and the situations he had made me happy as it looked like he had a good understanding with the team’.
