Stand-in-Captain of the Super Eagles, Vincent Enyeama has expressed delight in his move back to Lille Metropole in France from Israel. In a chat with Prompt News Online, Enyeama revealed that the transition to and from Lille was a very unique experience he has learnt from.
“Playing is one great feeling that a footballer has, I am happy that I am playing that is the most important thing because when you are playing there is bound to be that confidence you will get more playing time, more contract so this makes one happy”
Speaking about his loan deal back to Israel after signing for Lille and not getting playing time Enyeama said “I guess is a transition made by God. You know I have to go back to Israel and back to Lille, I did not regret those days when I went back to Maccabi Tel Aviv on loan. I just want to thank God that I am playing now because that is the most important thing”
Meanwhile, on the likelihood of the Super Eagles taking on any of the tough teams in the world cup playoffs, the shot stopper told Prompt News Online that whatever team is thrown at the super eagles would be welcomed as long as the Super Eagles play well and the team is met on its bad day.
“I don’t have a problem of which team to meet or to avoid, the most important thing is God giving us opponent that we can beat on the match day that is what really matters”
“Personally I don’t have a choice of team, if God says we will meet Ivory Coast on their bad day and we will win and qualify that is what I want. I don’t really have a problem about choice of team to play” he stated.
