Super Eagles midfielder, Mikel Obi has been named the new Captain of the team.
The team’s Interim Coach, Samson Siasia made the announcement on Thursday as the team prepares for a crucial qualifying match against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
Mikel, is one of the longest serving players in the national team.
He replaces Ahmed Musa, who was appointed Captain by the erstwhile Coach Sunday Oliseh.
