From Omobolaji Oyegunle, London West Ham are targeting a January move for former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike as they continue to step up their chase for a new striker.
The striker’s agent was seen at Upton Park, London on Monday as the striker remains in the frame to seal a move to the East London outfit.
Emenike, who has played in Europe, Russia and Turkey has been on loan at Al Ain in Abu Dhabi from Fenerbahce but the deal was being cut short so that he can seal a move to the Premier League.
Joint-chairman David Sullivan hinted that” We are looking at long-term for a 20-goal a season striker.
“There’s a possibility that a striker will come in on loan in the next seven days, with an option to buy.
“He’s an oversees striker, who has played in higher league”.
