By Harry Awurumibe Nigeria’s U- 17 Women’s National team, Flamingos have intensified preparation towards getting a favorable result when Nigeria takes on Namibia in the first leg of the Jordan 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier tie.
The team led by coach Bala Nkiyu which has been in camp since December 2, 2015 will on Saturday, January 9 2016 battle Namibians at the main bowl of Abuja National Stadium.
A visit to the training camp of Flamingos in Abuja on Tuesday revealed that the team is ready for the match.
Coach Nkiyu took the team through the segments of the training regime which later dove tailed into accurate shooting and defending.
Interestingly, the players responded positively and showed no signs of fatigue.
