By Mohammed Yangida, Lafia                 Nasarawa State Governor Umaru Al-Makura, has charged APC supporters in the state to remain committed ‎to party ideology, noting that the party cannot succeed without their support and ‎cooperation.
The governor, who gave the charged on Wednesday during a meeting with APC stakeholders at the Government House in Lafia, also said his government would accord priority to infrastructural development and the general well -being of the people in the next four years.
According to him, the APC-led federal government is committed to moving the country to the promised ‎land, affirming that with the success so far recorded by APC in the state and the country at large in the nearest future APC would ‎become the only party in the whole Nation.

His words, “We thank God for the success so far recorded by our party at local, state and Federal levels. I am also happy that the party remain one and strong in the state. In the nearest future APC would become the only party in the country”.
‎He noted that the success was as a result of the leadership quality and efforts made by party members at the ward, local, state and national levels,‎ calling on the supporters to remain law abiding.
‎He added “My government would continue to provide infrastructure to the people of the state in line with APC agenda”.
‎Speaking earlier, at the state APC chairman, Mr. Philip Shekwo thanked supporters of the party for keeping faith with the government and the party despite difficulties, noting that the meeting was targeted at clearing the air that APC does not exist in the state.
“Many used their resources for the love of the party. I urge new commissioners in the state to take the party into cognizance by being committed to the party,” he charged.
