Operatives of the Osun State Amotekun Corps have rescued a woman and her children who were found wandering along the Gbongan-Ibadan Road.
The family was reportedly rescued by Amotekun patrol officers on Thursday night while moving along the busy highway.
The Public Relations Officer of the Osun Amotekun Corps, CSA Yusuf Idowu Abass, disclosed this in a statement, saying the woman and her children were taken to the corps’ office in Osogbo for safety.
Abass said the woman was unable to provide satisfactory information about her identity, family or where she was coming from.
He added that the woman was also unable to feed the baby in her care, prompting the operatives to keep the family in a safe location.
The spokesman appealed to members of the public who might recognise the woman or have information about her relatives to contact the Amotekun office in Osogbo.
“Anyone with useful information is encouraged to contact the Amotekun office,” Abass said.
