By Harry Awurumibe Proprietor of Giwa Football Club of Jos, Chris Giwa Thursday, said that the 2014 -2015 season was yet to end following a protest before the Nigeria Football Federation Organizing and Disciplinary Committee.
Speaking minutes after he appeared before the Committee at the NFF Headquarters in Wuse Zone 7 Abuja, Giwa said he was not aware that the league has ended when there are issues emanating from the conduct of his club’s match against Nasarawa United FC. Giwa said his club protested the outcome of the match against Nasarawa because it was called off before the 90 minutes regulation time.
According to him, his club is being witch-hunted as he alleged that the League Management Company is not fair to his club by applying different rules to different clubs.
He said that Giwa FC will not accept injustice hence it protested to the higher authority pointing out that he believes that justice will be done at last.
