The Abuja branch of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Muslim Graduate’s Association (UNIFEMGA) is billed to hold a National Education Summit in Abuja on Saturday, November 28.
Chairman of the organizing committee, Alhaji Abdul Basit Bolaji Bakare in a statement said the summit with the theme ‘Nigeria’s Education Sector- Transforming into the 21st Century with Content,Quality and Global Recognition will hold at the Yar’Adua Conference with the new Education Minister, Mallam Adamu Adamu as the Chief Host.
He added that Professor Musa Aibinu from the Federal University of Technology, Minna will speak on ‘Creating and sustaining a quality pool of Education Sector professionals-Solution options’ while Dr M.A. Kazaure, the Executive Secretary of the National Board of Technical Education, Kaduna will deliver a paper on ‘Educational Curricula Aligned with Nigeria’s Talent/Competitive Advantage and Industrial/Economic Growth.’
The third paper at the summit, titled ‘The challenge of Funding Nigeria’s Education Sector for Citizens Affordability-Solution options’ will be delivered by Alhaji Tunde Popoola, Managing Director of CRC Bureau and former national president of UNIFEMGA.
