By Harry Awurumibe Determined to keep to his promise, Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has ordered a massive patch-up of the bad portions of Lagos roads as palliative measures to arrest the traffic snares in the metropolis.
A check on some of the bad portions across the city showed that repair works have started on most of them while contractors have moved in their equipment to sites.
A tour of the Lagos West Senatorial District showed that roads in Ejigbo, lsolo, lre Akari, Mushin, Oshodi, Idimu, Alimosho and Ajao Estate are being rehabilitated.
Other roads across the state are being given a facelift.
