Victor Osimhen has said the Super Eagles will give their all in the semi-final encounter against Morocco, Prompt News reports.
Éric Chelle’s men will be up against the hosts in Rabat on Wednesday (today).
“It’s like every other game, but it’s more important this time, because we want to get to the final. To get there, we have to win this semi-final,” Osimhen said ahead of the game.
“We know the kind of team we are facing.
“So, of course, we have to bring in our A-game. We have to be focused from the first blast of the whistle until the very end.”
Osimhen , who is currently second on the AFCON 2025 scorers’ chart with four goals, added that he is enthusiastic about the Eagles winning this tie, as all the players are united in their focus.
He added that the team’s Franco-Malian tactician, Eric Sekou Chelle, has also done a good job in knocking Nigeria’s present squad into a side to be highly reckoned with.
“We’ve been helping one another, and we have a coach who is very demanding. His has his tight philosophy, and if you don’t follow it, you will not play. It’s not a joke for him.
That’s why even our training sessions are like a war, because every player is running well and fighting hard to get a shirt.
“What you see on the pitch during our matches is what we do in training, and I’m really happy to be part of this team.”
