Two residents of Ugba community in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State have been kidnapped by suspected gunmen.

The victims, identified as Mr Kpishi Terhile and Madam Demetindi Nongo, were reportedly abducted in the early hours of Wednesday.

The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. at the residence of one Teacher Jerry Ugba, located close to the General Hospital in the area.

Eyewitnesses said the abductors carried out the operation in a calm and coordinated manner, without firing shots or engaging in any form of violence.

Community sources disclosed that the abduction followed a pattern similar to previous incidents recorded in the area, raising fresh concerns over insecurity in the community.

As of the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of the abducted residents remained unknown.
