By Paul Efiong               The Nigeria Youth Organization (NYO) has reiterated its resolve to support President Mohamed Buhari administration.
In a press statement issued and signed by its National President, Ahmed Abdula-ziz in Abuja, on Tuesday, the NYO stated that the country under President Buhari administration is undergoing a holistic reformation adding that what government needs now is support through experienced hands and not criticism.
Abdula-ziz further stated that Youths according to the United Nations definition is anybody above 18years and above maintaining that some ministers designate fall within youth category for example: Messers Kayode fayemi, Rotimi Amechi, Aisha Alssan etc.
The group also called on Nigerian Youths to rise massively in support of the upcoming ministerial inauguration in order to move the country forward.
The statement, according to the president was to put the record straight in view of an earlier press briefing in Abuja by a group known as Youth Concerns Reconciliation Initiative which claimed they had filed a suit seeking to stop president Muhammed Buhari from inaugurating the 36 recently cleared ministers.
The group who through its media officer, Ms Blessing Luka during a press conference had alleged that PMB government has no intention of giving Nigerian youths a chance.
”The suit No FHC/ABJ/773/2015 Is seeking to Stop the President from Inaugurating as well as assigning portfolios to the ministers designate’.
NYO finally advised Nigerian s from all walks of life to be focused rather than distracting the President from delivering on his campaign promises to Nigerians.
