Rwanda head coach Adel Amrouche has listed 24 players for the team’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria’s Super Eagles, and Warriors of Zimbabwe, Prompt News reports.

The Amavubi started preparations for the two games in Kigali on Monday morning.

Claude Smith Kayinbanda, Djabilu Ishimwe, and David Niyo were later dropped from the traveling party to Nigeria for the matchday seven encounter.

Kayinbanda was left out of the squad due to the injury he sustained while in action for his club Bedford last weekend.

Four players; Phanuel Kavita, Bonheur Mugisha, Jojea Kwizera, and Clement Buhake will join the rest of the squad in Uyo.

20 players, and officials of the team departed Kigali International Airport for Lagos on Tuesday morning.

They will connect a flight to Uyo later tonight.

Nigeria, and Rwanda will do battle at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday.
