The Kids and Teens Development Outreach (KTDO) held its annual conference today, Saturday, August 2nd, 2025.

This year’s conference, specially organized for preteens and teenagers, was themed “Purpose-Driven Child.”

Convener of the event, Victoria Hanson, urged the young participants to recognize the dangers of living without purpose.

She warned that many adults have missed their destinies by chasing fleeting pleasures and following the crowd, and therefore called on the attendees to choose a different path.

Speaking further, she emphasized that the devil targets children and teenagers because of their impressionable nature, especially through social media and peer influence.

She prayed that their destinies would not be derailed by negative forces.

The guest speaker, Pastor Mrs. Bibian Okeke, highlighted that Jesus Christ began his ministry at the age of twelve.

She encouraged the youth to understand that they too are spiritually mature and capable of making godly decisions.

Also speaking at the event, Disciple Ann Ijeoma Iwuagwu reminded the participants that every individual is born to solve a specific problem.

As young people full of potential, she urged them to see themselves as carriers of solutions.

The conference featured insightful roundtable discussions on topics such as:

The Psychological and Spiritual Effects of Watching Pornography

The Importance of Morals in Personal Development

Why Personal Prayer Matters in Building a Strong Faith

            Coping with Peer Pressure
