Nigeria’s Super Eagles defeated Jamaica 5-4 on penalties at the Gtech Community Stadium, Brentford, London on Saturday night to retain their Unity Cup title.
Prompt News reports that both countries battled to a 2-2 draw in regulation time.
Moses Simon, who captained the team on the night scored the curtain raiser in the third minute after he was teed by Cyriel Dessers.
The Reggae Boys fought back immediately with Kaheim Dixon equalising three minutes later.
AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze gave the Super Eagles the lead for the second time in the game eight minutes after the break.
Once again, the Reggae Boys find their way back, this time Jonathan Russell netted the equaliser.
The game went straight into penalties after 90 minutes.
The Super Eagles converted all five spot kicks, while Jamaica could only score four.
Earlier, the Black Stars of Ghana thrashed Trinidad and Tobago 4-0 to secure third spot.
